Dr. Ronnie W. Goines is the Founding Pastor of Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington, Texas. He is married to the beautiful Nikki Goines and is the father of their 3 sons: Noah, Luke and Daniel.
His educational background includes: Bachelor of Finance degree from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, with an emphasis in Biblical Languages, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Dr. Goines served as an Adjunct Professor of History and Literature of the Bible at Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas.
Vocationally he served 8 years in the U.S. Armed Forces, was a Licensed Financial Advisor, Corporate Business Development Officer, and radio talk host of “Real Talk with Rev” on FM 100.7. He is a two-time published author of “As For Me And My House…” (Book & Journal).
He serves as a board member of Marriage Today, Incorporated and Mansfield Independent School District Education Foundation, Board of Trustees for Medical Center of Arlington, Christian Job Corps and is part of a national “think tank” of pastors, academics, and lobbyists that meet in our nation’s capital to discuss and propose legislature that promotes religious freedoms and social change. He has also authored a leadership and behavioral curriculum for public schools.
Dr. Goines considers himself blessed to have had the opportunity to share with so many throughout the U.S and abroad. His favorite quote is “Live holy in private and God will bless you in public.”
